My Story
I have had a passion for everything creative since I can remember. I started off my artistic journey when my ant used to watch me after school, I would spend my time re-drawing cartoon characters that I liked and I was always told how impressive I was at recreation for my age. Then going into highschool, I started taking 3D arts and crafts classes with a teacher who really fed my flame of love for arts. I ended up being invited into the National Arts Honor Society where I attended meetings and ceremonies. After highschool I started my journey into college. As many artists have probably felt, I didn't know the possibilities a carrier in art held, so I initially attended Longwood University for psychology. I quickly didn't like my college life. I took a chance and took my first college art class, life drawing, where I decided I needed to do these classes for my whole college experience. I applied for VCUarts and got in! I transferred my sophomore year and the rest is history. My art skills benefitted GREATLY attending such a great art school and I am forever grateful I did it.
